Alison

Dancing from a young age, Alison trained in classical ballet. She attended The worth Tyrell School of Performing Arts in East Coast USA, Learning to Dance Jazz. She Trained with Baylins Barn Ballet School & went on to teach ballet, tap and jazz to adults and children before discovering a passion for salsa.

Alison has been teaching Salsa (On1 & On2), Bachata and Cha Cha from both a followers and A leaders perspective for many years. She teaches salsa at all levels from beginners to advanced, as well as Teaching ladies styling, shines & musicality. Alison has taught & performed in the UK and at International congresses. She Also teaches regularly for Pexava in West London.

Alison has appeared in film and TV. She has performed and choreographed in various shows over the course of her career.

With Her experience of different dance styles, Alison believes in encouraging others to develop expression and creativity in all aspects of their salsa dancing.

Ash

Ash first started his dance Journey learning street dance & performing At the Magna Carta Arts Centre.
In 2018, He travelled to Cuba & caught the Salsa Bug learning Cuban salsa. Since then Ash has trained in Crossbody Salsa with Alleycat Dance and attends class at Pexava in West London. He completed A Performance course with The London Mambo Dance Company.

Ash is a regular Teacher at Alleycat Dance and is currently performing Salsa Shows in and around London.


Ash enjoys Salsa music & loves to perform & Social dance. He finds being a teacher fulfilling especially when students Have Fun Learning to Dance.  

Dancing is my life now I wish I had danced at a younger age as it helps me mentally physically,emotionally & spiritually. It’s never too late to dance”

Joao (Joe)

Joao started dancing Salsa, Bachata and Kizomba at his home Town in Portugal where He was always complimented on his dancing. He moved to the UK and continued his Dancing Journey. He has been a salsa Teacher for 4 years and is very special having been the first member of the alleycat Team.

Joao believes that a dancer should always be learning and his patient teaching style allows him to pass his knowledge on to his students. he is a Regular on the salsa scene and can be seen having fun social dancing and taking part in congresses. Joao Enjoys Teaching and dancing Bachata. Joao also plays the Guitar in his spare Time.

Phoebe

Phoebe Trained in Ballet for 10 years before she discovered latin dance. She teaches Salsa for Alleycat Dance and also dances Argentine Tango. so the dancing never stops!

She Has a passion for dance and enjoys Teaching Students how to dance. She loves the way Salsa helps build trust and connection with Others. Phoebe feels that dance allows people learn about Themselves, and that it encourages a sense of self Esteem and body confidence.
